Terrific Ab Tuesdays at Pure Power Bootcamp! The adventure continues...

6 Month Maintenance Journal
Day 6:
Ok, so far so good, but our 5:30 class is shrinking. Not sure if it's because it is getting cold but today it was brutal as we were only 3 brave souls in the OMBG class. Yup, we definitely made up for the rest that were MIA. We were killed today doing abs and more abs. Crunches galore in all sorts new techniques. We also had to do the plank but with our legs half way up in the air - I know that sounds strange but not sure how else to explain it. One leg was on the wooden box and the other was half way up in the air - all in all we only had to keep the plank position without dropping and keeping our core really, really strong. Besides that, we also did more tummy twisters and lots of toe touches all using the ball weights. The trick was to keep our tummies tight and as they said, "shoulder blades off the floor!"  
Besides all the tummy twisters, we did a lot of bear crawls and sprinting. Bear crawls, sprinting, bear crawls sprinting. At the end I can honestly say after todays workout, there is no way I could not have lost at least 5 pounds because after all the rock wall sit ups and everything else we did, I was feeling skinnier then when I first walked in. As light as a feather to be precise...now if only I can keep the consistency going...practice, practice, practice! I still need to climb that Intensity wall.
