Get creative with Crayola and join in on supporting our troops!

Hello All,
Today I wanted to blog about the creative way in which on can help keep the moral up of our troops specifically involving kids. It is a very easy and creative project. It is basically creating a quilt of various different patriotic drawings. Not only is it super fun but the soldier that receives this is sure to have a happy day. Below are the instructions  to help get you started - hope you enjoy!

Patriotic Drawing Quilt
1. Collect pictures and information about symbols of your country. For the United States, for example, you might find a bald eagle, flag, Liberty Bell, presidential seal, and photographs of leaders. Choose several designs for your quilt.
2. Divide construction paper into different-sized sections with Crayola Color Pencils or Color Sticks and a straight edge.
3. Draw, then color, the symbols of the country that you chose with Colored Pencils or Color Sticks.
4. Draw and color strips of construction paper with Colored Pencils or Color Sticks. Cut them out. With a Crayola Glue Stick, attach them on the dividing lines of each section to create a quilted appearance. You could also use them to frame your Patriotic Quilt.
