Week 7, Day 2
Tuesday are abs days! Ab days at PPBC! Getting my tummy in shape! I'm still pretty weak in my core but overall if I just keep practicing going to bootcamp sooner or later the improvements will come. Or at least I'm hoping! Did a lot of pushups today and twisters with some weights. At first when I started doing the twisters, my muscles were so sore that I really wanted to giggle since I was in so much pain, but couldn't because I didn't want to get the platoon in trouble. After we had a lot of box jumpers. They look easy but when you start to do them non stop, one realizes that it's not as simple as it looks. It takes much effort to jump consistently on the boxes and keep going. We were then paired up with a buddy and we did a lot of leg step ups (not sure if that's what are called) but anyways we were paired up and my legs were on FIRE- I totally felt the burn but we couldn't stop otherwise we had to start all over. Everyone was barely making it at the end. The platoon has stayed at 5 people and they make it harder and harder when it's a smaller class. Hence, I must say I do feel some kind of pride getting there at 5:30am as we may be a small platoon but we are.. the OMBG - short for Original Morning Bootcamp Gangstas! We're a fun bunch!
Besides that, I've still been giving more thought to everything that Ms. Brenner mentioned when we last spoke. I really want to accomplish a lot and started to make a list of everything. As the saying goes, "leave no stone unturned." I'm really excited as I think with my new blue print of success game plan I'm going to make it! I already started planning everything out, making a list, and now I really think I need to start visualizing my success. I also need to make BIG visual boards of everything and I was thinking of putting them on my wall so when I wake up it's one of the first things I see. Seeing success bootcamp style! Ooooh La La!
