NBC Saturday Morning news Superstars up for adoption in Manhattan..

It' the last Saturday before going to nationals so I won't be on NBC helping the animal shelter find homes for our adoptable pets for the next 2 weeks  but I still wanted to write about them.  On today's segment this morning, we had 2 dogs Lucy and Dino. Lucy was a bundle of energy and is super ready to meet her running buddy as she loves to play! Dino, he's was just a sweet gentlemen as he was snuggling and licking my hands as I held him-a complete sweetheart. Little Jennifer, was just a beautiful piece of art as her coat looked like it was painted on, so pretty. All these three stars are ready for adoption at the Manhattan Shelter...

She is a 1 year old Labrador retriever mix, sort of tiny at 27 lbs, who came to us as a stray. She seems to be a little timid (I just think she is overwhelmed by all the smells and noises!) but she is very sweet.  Would you come and get her, and give her the attention she deserves so she can shine like a true star!

Meet DINO 901435
He also came to us as a stray. Dino is about 5 years old, but you wouldn’t know it! He is a young chap who likes mingling with others, and meeting new friends. He is available at the shelter, come and meet your new best friend!

Introducing Jennifer (A# 902036). Jennifer is a 1 year old spayed dilute calico. She came to the shelter as a stray from the Bronx . Jennifer has the most beautiful fur that almost looks like the brush marks of a painting. She can usually be found fully stretched out on her back with all 4 paws in the air. All you have to do is call her softly and she’s on her feet in a flash. She comes right to the front for petting and love and purrs the whole time. She loves to be held and sit on laps. Jennifer is a gentle friendly girl who should do well in most homes.
